If like Christmas, you find Valentine's day too commercialized, you can stop reading now. But if you don't mind enjoying February 14 like many lovers do, you might want to check out these Valentine date ideas I've concocted.
Buy a Valentine Gift
You can get away from not having a too well-thought of Valentine date if you give a nice present. If you'd like to wow your girlfriend or wife but don't want to overspend, find a friend or a friend of a friend who's a member of Ideeli, an online shopping site that offers luxury brands at discount prices. Just today, I've logged in and spotted a Gucci sunglasses that's available for only $99.
Request Your Virtual Assistant to Look for a Gift and Book your Valentine's
Date as Well
If you don't have have a virtual assistant yet, you can look for one now or you can't avail the convenience that a trusty VA can ever do for a busy professional like you. Of course, it's okay if you have a non-virtual personal assistant that you can count on. But if you haven't reached that level of income yet to afford the luxury of having a PA and you can afford VA's with hourly rates, you can ask for help. A good one will know which is the most happening spot where you can bring your beloved. There are also virtual concierge firms that offer this specific gift-searching service if you think your VA is too busy right now.
File a Leave and Get Busy Preparing for Your Valentine's Date
Of course, I don't recommend this to those who are in the verge of getting fired because of tardiness or any similar case. But if you've been a good corporate slave or businessman, you and your loved one deserve to take a break and cherish each other's company during this day. It can be as simple as spending the whole day watching your favorite chick flicks or action movies or leaving the kids to your parents and have a great time fishing, camping, or in a five-star hotel. Or you can be a romantic chef for a night. Whatever floats your boat.
