Since Sunday is family day, I'd like to make Sunday a time for introducing more laid back stuff and anything that doesn't scream information overload! - as if posting during Sunday is not one form of contributing to info overload.
Without further ado, here are two offbeat gadgets (that I think might boost productivity) as presented at the Consumer Electronics Show held at the Las Vegas Convention Center:
1. Robot Guitar
I'm imagining that professional guitarists or simply guitar enthusiasts can benefit a lot from the saved time that this self-tuning guitar from Gibson Guitar Corp. can bring.
2. Underwater Digital Camera Mask
Liquid Image Co. now lets scuba divers and documentarists enjoy the convenience of not having to hold the camera again soon (since I'm not sure if the megapixels of this digital camera will do for the professionals) with this underwater digital camera attached on a swimming mask. For the 3.1 megapixel version, prepare to be charged $79 and $99 for the 5-megapixel camera.
Check out other offbeat devices from CES 2008 (although they're more for entertainment purposes than productivity like many gadgets nowadays are) including an ice chest scooter and a cute mp3 player.
