This photo of Stephanie Congdon Barnes' newly organized office made me take down notes on what new colorful items to stuff my now-almost-empty home office. I like my nice li'l home office's Zen-inspired ambience, but I'm sure some splash of color won't make it less tidy, right? Just look at how those colorful craft materials and the printed tote bag made the room livelier while maintaining its organized look. The wooden sculpture I'd imagine would help me relax my eyes when they get tired looking at the screen of that MacBook Pro. A necessary distraction it will be! You can see another version of this neat office desk here and a larger version here. I hope this inspires you to enjoy decorating and tidying up your office desk, art desk, workstation or however you call it, as much as it inspired me to.
