If you are not into setting new goals every New Year or are just plain tired of the New Year's resolutions syndrome, kindly consider that there are still many of us who can actually accomplish those goals we set every time the calendar turns its last page. ![]()
This year, I'm dividing my biz goals into two, short-term and long-term. Short-term goals are those that I can accomplish within just a month or two and long term goals may take half of the year or more.
My short-term business goals include:
- Posting at least 30 posts here and 25% more on my other blogs. I've also set this as one of my 2007 New Year's resolutions and I'm proud to say that I was able to do it on my business blog.
- Finally find a web designer to create my business site.
- Finally create stylesheets for my SEO and VA clients.
- VA retainership.
My long-term biz goals include:
- Accomplish Paperless project
- Learn web design basics through self-study or formal schooling. I've always wanted to create my own WordPress theme from scratch, ok, from Kubrick (default WP theme) will do.
- Test the waters of working from anywhere. I've started collecting the tools of the trade by getting me a nice HP notebook PC just a few weeks ago.
- Master just one project management software program. Not 3. Not 5!
How about you? What are your business goals for 2008? I'm sure you already know that that writing them down will motivate you to get them done.
