It's not enough to be busy. The question is: What are we busy about?
- Henry David Thoreau
If you'd ask my friends about my old attitude towards productivity, they'd definitely shake their heads and will inform you that Alfa Mercado can't get things done on time. I was a master procrastinator! I even brought this bad habit with me when I dipped my toes into the waters of the corporate world as a pharmaceutical laboratory QA, a Biology lab technician, a College instructor, a project manager of an outsourcing firm, and as an executive assistant.
So how was I able to drop the bad habit? I've learned about the different ways to work smartly and multi-task as a web content writer and as a virtual assistant. What other job will require you to be in your most productive shoes than being a virtual assistant, right?
To be honest, I still get some lapses every now and then but they're more manageable now thanks to all the online and offline tools and tricks I discovered, which proved to be very helpful to someone who plans to maximize his or her time.
Now what do I want to accomplish with the help of Productivity Goal? I wish to share to people the various tips and tricks that help me get rid of my procrastinatress image. I'm sure that there's also more for me to learn more from people who visit this blog and contribute to the conversation.
I hope that I can be of help in making Productivity Goal to continue to serve as one of those resources that helps folks to become accomplished, not just busy.
Have a fun and productive day everyone!
