Blogtipping is such a fun notion. Thank you, Easton Ellsworth and Business
BlogWire, for coming up with it. You might have noticed that, while I enjoy observing this first-of-the-month event, I have a tendency to make up new rules as the months go by. Sorry, Easton. There's nothing wrong with the original, I just like to see how many facets it has.
Well, have you had the chance to see the new design at Make It Great! with Phil Gerbyshak? He says it's not quite finished, but that's ok. It gives more of a sense of open and airy than the old design could. Frankly, I'm still not crazy about the way the comments lay out, but that's minor because this new look feels like it gives Phil more freedom to be Phil.
Ya know who I met over at Phil's? Mark Shead. Mark writes Productivity 501, a fine productivity blog if ever there was one. And check this out! Productivity 501 is running a contest; a review, a link, a subscription, (one or all) earns a chance (or chances) to win a iPod. Click here for details.
Speaking of contests, have you seen what Drew McLellan is doing over at Drew's Marketing Minute? It's not a contest, it's more of an open call to a group writing project. See his post, Help me build a new blogger toolbox, for details. After the success he and Gavin Heaton had with Age of Conversation, this project should be absolutely inspirational.

Thanks for the tip Carolyn! Glad you like the new layout. Would you mind sharing what you'd like to see with the comments, and I'll see how I can go about making it great for you?
