Thank you for visiting ProductivityGoal for the third of three in this series about academic resources. At the risk of being repetitive, this is for everyone. Each time I skim through the list, I see more and more that will help both students and already-graduated business people. Bookmark the series for a while; you might want to refer to it later. I most definitely will.

HOMEWORK COMPOSITION
Collaborating? It's at very least worth the time to look at the free Google Docs and Spreadsheets for creating and sharing online. Work is secure when it's
written; save once and access it from anywhere -- it doesn't get lost. For many college assignment and business projects, this tool can be an indespensible path to optimum productivity.
Everyone needs PDF conversion once in a while; everyone doesn't have the technical knowledge to do it. Take a look at PDF Online. Go on. Take a look and see how easy it is.
Bibliographies can be precisely difficult. Not so with Ottobib. This site has the tools to configure any bibliography page. It also allows teachers or other readers to see online references. The only thing needed is the ISBN of the cited books.
Another free bibliography tool for research papers is NoodleBib. With perhaps more sophistication, the site analyzes any citation list to prepare a printer-friendly Doc format and allows for complete information recording, organizing and sythesizing.

SOCIAL NETWORKING
It's a Gen Y kind of site and here's what CampusNut has to say about itself. "CampusNut.com aims to be the coolest entertainment and academic destination
for Generation Y." Topics cover a range: pop culture, lifestyles, travel (etc), as well as the important academic resources like book summaries, scholarship databases, college profiles and college application essays. For the academic and socially minded, The Campus Center is a good choice. With the motto, "Search Less. Find More", the site combines social networking with a list of both community and academic resources.
It's no secret that Facebook is a little more sophistaced and more college-oriented than sites like MySpace. It might be called the first step in adult networking. An e-mail address is the only requirement to open an account that will integrate with Pick-A-Prof (see next entry).
Students looking to have a preview of the next semester will appreciate Pick-A-Prof. See grade histories, other student reviews, as well as ratings and evaluations. The site also offers a degree planner and is affiliated with Facebook.
Another site that aims to enhance a college career is RateMyProfessors. his site still has This site has ratings on professors from over 6000 colleges and universities from the US, Canada, England, Scotland, and Wales.
Well, that's it. For more information, see The College Student's Productivity Guide - 27 Apps, Tools, and Resources at Online Education Database.
