Everybody talks about making plans and setting goals. We have our "to do today" lists, our "gotta get on this soon" lists, our "this is a great idea for someday" lists. We sometimes have to hope the deposit gets credited before the check gets cashed and, once in a while, we take those credit cards perilously high.
Wait! Where did that come from?
It came from the reality that we're not always realistic when we consider our value. It came from a couple of questions: What do you think you're worth? and Do you have the desire to receive the money you're worth?
Plans and goals are only part of the picture and they're not the greenest part.
Plans and goals are products of brain and brawn. The greenest part is tied to desire; the desire to cash in on what we're worth so we can live in the big picture.
"Living a prosperous life is not really about the money, it is about the lifestyle the money provides. It is about the freedom, the choices and the options available to those who create their lives." --Wanda Grindstaff, Financial Mindset -- How much money are You Really Worth?, Creating Abundant Lifestyles
And there you have it: "those who create their lives". It's not enough to create a business unless we add a proper measure of desire to allow that business to be a financial conduit. We absolutely must value ourselves. More than that, we absolutely must believe that value.
