Two posts caught my eye the other day; Christine Kane’s Take Action in May and Joe Vitale’s How to Attract a Million Dollars. Each of them speaks to one simple word: doing. Ok, maybe two simple words: doing now.
When a good idea comes down the pike, there’s seldom any reason to walk around it, survey it, weigh it, or otherwise waste time by simply thinking about it. The Universe has presented the idea and wants us to take the ball and run with it before someone else does. We can’t think we’re the only ones in the world who have new ideas; the same thoughts are sprinkled all over the globe. It’s a pity to waste a good thought by thinking about it too long.
How often have we heard or said something like, “I thought of doing that two years ago”. Yeah, well, the person who acted on it is the one with the patent. The person who takes action is the person who gets to take the money to the bank.
Maybe you’re not overflowing with original ideas right now. So what? If you’re anything like all of us, there are plenty of unfinished and/or un-started projects that could use some attention. Pick something, even if it’s a small something, give it a quick thought, and get it out here so we can all enjoy what makes you tick.
The trick is to not waste too much time. Get the worm before some other bird comes swooping. We all have it in us to accomplish our intentions. It’s simply a matter of doing it and doing it now. The sense of fulfillment will lift your spirits and, perhaps, fatten your wallet.
