Inspiration: The Little Successes Along The Way

The other day, I found another group writing project, this time at Inspiration Bit.  Vivien is asking, simply, “What inspires you?” with her project, “Source of Inspiration”.

One of my answers is, simply, “the little successes along the way”.  The other answer, about how “they showed me how to find release” is posted at Thoughts & Philosophies.

That’s not to say I don’t have an ear-to-ear grin when a big project comes together and it works out well and people offer congratulations for a job well done. Sure, end-of-project energy is also a source of inspiration, but it’s more like a jolt of excitement than the smooth pat on the back that comes with the little successes.

The way I see things, all of life comes together with links.  The chain wouldn’t exist if not for each small piece of it; every link adds to the illusion that the chain is a single piece.

So, back to something that inspires me and keeps me growing, reaching, learning, doing.  It’s the incomparable satisfaction waiting at the end of each small task.  That pat on the back the Universe sends every time I add another link to my chain.

One more thing.  I know there's not too much time left, but, if you want to participate in this project, the deadline is Thursday, May 24.

Hi Carolyn,

Thank you so much for your double contribution to this group writing
project. I'm so glad that you found out about it from Bes.

P.S. I received your email via my contact form, but my reply to you bounced back. Could you please, contact me again with the right email address?

It was a pleasure to contribute, Vivien, and you're very welcome. I just shot off an email to you. Beats me why it bounced, but all's well that ends well, I suppose.

Thanks for confirming your email address. I think the problem is that your server is flagging my emails as spam.
I forwarded you the bounced email and it got back to me again. :-(

Strange, Vivien. All emails should get through. I'll look into it again.
