Oct 9	The Whee! Factor Claire Tompkins October 9, 2006 Know More: Self Management Mood is an important factor in productivity, particularly being in a happy mood. We all have different things that make us happy and for me, going down a slide is one of them (I recently discovered the Seward Street concrete slide in San Francisco and went down it about a dozen times before my friends pulled me away). The Tate Modern in London currently has a slide exhibit that will get you up to 30 mph. Its designer, artist Carsten Holler, has a mission to bring slides to the workplace “because the frequent act of sliding could bring about untold changes in our everyday behaviour and outlook." He envisions British MPs sliding into the House of Commons. What kind of debates do you think they’d have then? Fashion designer Miuccia Prada slides from her office to her car; how cool is that?
