This is part three from last week's suggestions for making changes.

Rewarding yourself for every bit of progress
Be kind to yourself. Little rewards can make any task more fun to do. Having a reward for finishing some part of a project reinforces your accomplishment because you’re already conditioned to believe that you have to do something to get a reward. So if you get a reward, you must have done something, right?
Getting a reward is also a convenient way to take a break from work, which is a productivity enhancer. I don’t know about you, but I get cranky if I don’t take breaks, and crankiness is anti-productive.
Make your reward something that you want and something that will contribute to productivity. To satisfy the second condition, the reward should involve some activity different from the one you’ve been working on, i.e., if you’ve been slaving away at the computer, try getting up and getting away from it, even if visiting a particular website seems like a good reward.

Rewards are a wonderful way to reinforce good habits and provide motivational. Think about all the things you love to do or would love to have and make them a reward. Attach them to tasks or goals and you'll be amazed at how that reframes your task or goal to something enjoyable and fun.
