You know there’s clutter and you know you want to do something about it. Even if you’re committed and motivated, you may feel like you’re circling around the project, looking for a way in.
When clutter gets overwhelming, it looks like one undifferentiated mass of stuff. A good first step is the one Tasra Dawson lists in this post on her scrapbooking blog: Make a list.
Making a list of each organizing or decluttering project means you’ve begun to see the trees, not just the forest. When you make a list, you start to separate one cluttered spot from another. You start to define, sort and categorize, which are key organizing activities.
This is just like breaking any other project down into do-able steps. You can't "do" a project, you can only do tasks and activites that move your project forward.

Great ideas...we could all use a little less clutter in our lives! Thanks for the reference to my blog. Glad that you found it useful!
