Two minutes isn't much time, but it's plenty of time to get some of those items off your to do list. Just how long is two minutes, anyway? The David Allen Company sells an
onscreen two minute timer because lots of people don't have a clear idea of how much they actually can get done in that handful of seconds.
They estimate that
"a third of your actions cleaning up your inbox take less than 2 minutes." I think that timing your work is a good idea so you can see where the day really is going, particularly if you aren't crossing much off your list. This timer is a handy graphical reminder.
