Why is time management so challenging? Because you can’t actually manage time. You can’t move it around or get more of it or bring back yesterday’s allotment. Think of it instead as task management, priority management and even self management. These all end up with your time being used better. The way you approach it depends on what works best for you.
When you’ve thoughtfully defined, grouped and executed your tasks, you’re using your time well. When you work on your top priorities first, you’re using your time well. When you do the most important work at the time that your brain is most effective, you’re using your time well.
Good points, Claire. And since we all have the same amount of time as each other, the quest is not to obtain more time, but rather to act more wisely as it flies by with its wings of lightning.
