"What are your three favorite personal productivity techniques, habits and/or tools?"
My first interview candidate is the successful and outstanding Liz Strauss. Her blog is full of great information about writing, branding, marketing and more, and is also a hotbed of blog community involvement. And she's really nice.
- I always end my day with something almost finished, but not quite done. That way when I get to work in the morning, I can sit down and do that thing and have something done almost right away. That makes me feel like I have something working for me while I start working on the next thing.
- I've quit multitasking [Ed. Note: Yay!]. I get more done doing one thing at a time. I'm more accurate, which means I don't have to do things over. I'm also much nicer. :)
- I gather all of my ideas of what I will write about in bunches. Switching back and forth between idea and writing, idea and writing, makes more work and more pain.

I'm liking this Liz girl more and more ;-)
#1 - straight from the Hemingway textbook on writing.
