Productivity
"The relationship between production of an output and one, some, or all of the resource inputs used in accomplishing the assigned task. It is measured as a ratio of output per unit of input over time. It is a measure of efficiency and is usually considered as output per person-hour."
What are your “resource inputs?” Some examples are your time, your skills, your tools and your knowledge. Also, your ideals, what motivates you, your goals, your desire for success, money or approval, your desire to avoid negative consequences, your competitiveness, your preferred work pace and style. What do you stir into the pot to get good productivity out of yourself?
These aspects are also a good place to look when you find yourself under performing. Ask yourself: how does this relate to my _________ goal? What if I got great feedback from ________ about this? Would I be more into this assignment if I could work on it at home? Remember: garbage in, garbage out.

Claire, I have enjoyed reading the insights at your sight. Thanks! I am wondering where you factor in the relationship between who one knows or how much money one has and how productivity can come from innovative ideas that get adopted? Any ideas?
